University students in Turkmenistan are invited to participate in the "Modern Programming Technologies" competition, organized by the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.

The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction invites students from secondary vocational and higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan to participate in the online hackathon "Software Mastery," which will be held on April 9-10, as reported by the "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" website.
The goal of the hackathon is to identify, stimulate, and support talented and capable students, develop the innovative potential of youth, analytical thinking, and the skills to independently solve assigned tasks.
Each educational institution can present one team of three students. Participants will be given 3 hours to solve programming tasks. The works will be evaluated by a jury based on the following criteria: relevance, originality, novelty, practical significance, ability to use time effectively, and teamwork.

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, in collaboration with the State Energy Institute, continues to accept applications for the innovative project competition "ICT Start-up: Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Development," which will take place on April 18-19, 2025.
The competition aims to support talented young people who are eager to develop entrepreneurial skills and create their own businesses. Young people up to 30 years old, possessing relevant skills and representing educational or scientific institutions, are invited to participate.

The Oguz Han engineering and technology university has announced an innovation technology competition for Turkmenistan’s citizens under the age of 35. 
Participants can submit working prototypes of websites, software, mobile applications, robots, electronic devices, digital and innovative economy models, new service formats, as well as projects in chemistry, biotechnology, cybersecurity, IT, agriculture, medicine, and other fields. All submitted projects must be based on new ideas or improved versions of existing solutions. 
The competition will be held in two stages: 
First stage: Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2025, through the Google form or via email at oguztaslama2025@gmail.com. Both individual and team applications (up to 3 members) are allowed. 
By May 1, 2025, participants must submit a full version of their projects, along with a presentation and, if possible, a 1-3 minute video, via Google form or email.

The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan will hold the IV International Internet Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics among university students from Turkmenistan and other countries. This was reported by the information agency "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".
The Olympiad will be held from March 10 to 15 in individual and team formats. All interested students are invited to participate, regardless of specialty and course. Registration is open on the institute's website until March 5.
Up to 10 students from each university can participate in the individual competition, and 1-2 teams (up to 5 people) can participate in the team competition, including teams from different universities. The USAID Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development Project (USAID/FGI) in partnership with Sanli Bilim is launching the Women in Technology Skills Development Project for girls and women 18 years of age and older. Over the course of three months, participants will learn basic skills in web or backend development. After completing three months of basic IT training, the most successful female participants will have the opportunity to study advanced levels of data analysis and web development. In addition, all participants will improve their English language skills and take part in entrepreneurship training to broaden their career prospects. The training will conclude with a showcase event where the participants will present their innovative technology projects demonstrating their new skills.

The basic level of the Women's Technology Skills Development Project will take place in Ashgabat for three months and will consist of five separate phases: 
1. Introductory ICT courses in web and backend development; 
2. English for Specific Purposes (ESP); 
3. Training in agile skills (soft skills) and entrepreneurship; 
4. Hackathon; 
5. Final pitch day.

Selected participants will receive comprehensive training that will provide them with valuable skills in technology, entrepreneurship and agile skills, including CV and interview techniques.
